Born in Romania, Gina Plunder if now based in Rastatt, Germany. Gina's figurative paintings involve numerous layers of acrylic paint to create an abstraction of light similar to the way a crystal diffracts rays of light. Her paintings also have architectural influences, usually with an element of multidimensional perspectives to allow her human silhouettes to move and express positive energy.
Gina is a member of the GEDOK German and Austrian Artists association and BBK federal German artist association. In addition to her work as an artist, she also began teaching art since 2004 as a lecturer at the Land Academy of Art and Theater Castle Rotenfels, and since 2006 served as Director of the Art Centre in Bildungschance Rastatt.
