From 1964 to 1996 Judy Liebert was a stage, film and television actress, a member of the English Stage Company at the Royal Court Theatre and a cast member of several well-known TV drama series. In 1988 she enrolled in a creative textile course at the London College of Furniture and this awakened her interest in the other creative arts. She then went on to study at De Montfort University and Nottingham Trent University becoming a full-time artist in 1997.
 

In 2004, the Love Medals series materialized as a positive response to the negativity of war. Judy states' "Love Medals are honors for the help and support we freely give each other in our daily lives. Rewards for nothing other than the satisfaction of creating a climate of generosity where life and love can thrive."

The playful color palette and liberating composition convey Judy's message of affection and compassion. Her works have an essence of abstract expressionist as well as subtle touch of representationalism. The viewer cannot help but be absorbed by the joyous and innocent wonderment.
