PARADOX EXHIBITION

The impossible only feels impossible until it is achieved. And while that may seem contradictory, the artists included in the Paradox Exhibition challenge the status quo to create anomalies in contradiction to their surroundings.

Embodying this premise is the Flying Fish by Australian-based artist couple and conservationists, Gillie and Marc Schattner, whose award winning sculpture appears to defy gravity in an attempt to shed light on endangered animal habitats.

The artists exhibited at Paradox have been selected by curator Charles Chapman as some of the most distinctive works across the globe today. Chosen for their quality of ideas and conceptual originality, they have a deep understanding of their materials across a wide range of media.

And although their premise may be rooted in paradox, their inherent impulse is of inspiration, reminding us all that anything is possible.
